Half Term Round Up

We have now finished for half term. The children have settled back into preschool and have adapted to our new routines brilliantly. We are proud of all of them. It has been lovely to get to know our new starters this term and we look forward to welcoming our new starters next term.

After finishing our ‘Aliens Love Underpants‘ window, our second display was created around the book ‘Barry the Fish with Fingers’. The children painted the window and created seahorses, fish, starfish, jellyfish, crabs and lobsters!

Continuing with our topic of ‘Favourite Stories’, the children also enjoyed making pizzas to take home as part of our activities for the book ‘The Little Red Hen (Makes a Pizza)’. We hope they tasted as good as they looked!

More recently the children decorated pumpkins which were kindly donated to us by Waddingworth PYO Pumpkins. They all looked wonderful – very colourful and sparkly! We hope you all have a fun Halloween – the children received Halloween treat bags from our committee which we hope they enjoy.

We wish you a lovely and relaxing half term break. Have fun completing your sponsored sticky sheet – please return these by Friday 6th November (along with any sponsor money) so we can display all the pictures. We return to preschool on Monday 2nd November and we look forward to seeing you all again then.
